From a young age, I was drawn to Construction. My father worked in construction, and I worked various construction jobs through high school. I loved the problem-solving and teambuilding aspect of projects. I realized that I had a special knack for building, high-performing teams and relationships of trust.
This propelled my early professional construction experience to the top. I started my career as an estimator, superintendent and project manager. As a project manager, I directed many large and complex projects. Projects that required a high level of attention to detail and coordination to ensure they were completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. My role involved collaborating with a wide range of sub- contractors, clients, and architects, all while maintaining a focus on safety, efficiency, and seamless communication.
